Unfortunately, many of the excellent textiles created previously in Japan are impossible to emulate in the modern era. Withstanding the test of time and through the virtue of many miracles, they have survived, which we are eternally grateful for. Listening to the voices of these priceless fabrics and being inspired by our imaginations as creators, we offer you a uniquely “New” product.

What we do at AITTA

Clothing, Food, & Housing. Japan’s unique culture gave birth to these precious handmade fabrics. No matter how times change, it still remains as a ”comfort” in our daily lives, whether we realize it or not. Textiles that weave nature’s bounties into shape are one of these artifacts. We want to breathe new life into the previously inherited treasures made by humans from silk, cotton, hemp, wool, etc., and revive them. That is our passion. Fateful encounters with unique fabrics. “Unravelling”, “washing”, and “tailoring” them. Keeping Japan’s wonderful craftmanship alive, close to the heart, and in our lives. That is what we do at AITTA.

AITTAのしごと

衣・食・住。 それに関わる日本の風土が生み出した貴重な手しごと。 どんなに時代が変わっても、知らず知らずと今もなお日々の生活の中に〝心地よさ”として残っています。 自然から頂いた大切な恵みを形にしてきた織物たちもそのひとつ。 絹・綿・麻・ウールなど、人々が生み出し、伝え守ってきた宝物に新しい息を吹き込み、甦らせたい。 それが私たちの想いです。 運命的な特別な織物たちとの出会い。 それらを「ほどき」、「洗い」、「整える」。 日本の素晴らしい意匠を絶やさず身近に、日常に。 それがAITTAのしごとです。

AITTA的職責

衣、食、住。日本手工創作時常出於其地方特色。無論時代如何變換也都存留在日常生活中的”舒適感”。 取材自大自然貴重素材而制成的紡織品也是其中之一。 絲、棉、麻、羊毛…對於人們所創造、傳承守護至今的寶物我们希望能够为人们创造并传承的宝藏注入新的生机、使其重生。这是我们的愿景。 與特殊的紡織品相遇，是令人興奮的命運的相遇。 在這特殊的相遇之後，經由「拆解」「清洗」「整理」的工程後做為「布料」再次承蒙使用。這就是AITTA的職責所在。
